Under the overarching theme of "Shaping a Sustainable Future: The Lessons and Legacies from Opinion Polling in Africa," this conference aims to foster insightful discussions and collaborations that will pave the way for a brighter future across the African continent.
As we extend our first call for papers, we invite specialists from diverse fields including Opinion Polling, Market & Social Research, Political Science, Sociology, History, Marginalization, Human Rights, Anthropology, Geography, Economics, Journalism, PR, Communications, Data Science, Statistics, Public Policy, Law, Civil Society & Advocacy, Diplomacy, Environment & Climate Change, Gender, Academia, Government, Private Sector, Digital Technology, and beyond, to contribute their expertise and insights.
With 20 compelling sub-themes to explore, participants have the opportunity to delve into a wide array of topics that are pertinent to the African context. These sub-themes encompass critical areas such as the role of opinion polling in shaping public policy, the intersectionality of human rights and social research, the impact of climate change on public opinion, the dynamics of gender representation in polling data, and the implications of digital technology on the future of research methodologies
By submitting papers, posters, and panels centered around these themes, participants will not only contribute to the advancement of knowledge within their respective fields but also play a pivotal role in charting a sustainable and equitable path forward for Sub-Saharan Africa.
